The Great Row
Date: Fri 6th January 2017 - Sat 1st April 2017
Venue: Your workplace
What is The Great Row?
Cancer Research UK is holding the nation's biggest indoor rowing challenge, The Great Row. No matter if you are a pro or trying rowing for the first time, The Great Row has something for everyone! There are 4 challenge distances to choose from, ranging from 2km to a marathon. Once you've picked your distance, download our training and fundraising packs and get started. Every Friday during March, David Lloyd is offering free entry to their gyms so there's no excuse not to complete your distance!
From the 6th January you can choose your distance and train at your local gym or rowing club. We encourage you to train and fundraise up until Challenge Week (25th March – 1st April) when everyone will complete their full distance. Don't forget to log your activity on the Workplace Challenge website or app to compete in our challenge against your colleagues and other workplaces too.
How can you get involved?
Sign-up to The Great Row as a personal challenge, choosing a distance which best suits you, or have fun tackling a distance as a team with your colleagues and friends. You can hold a Great Row training day at your office – it's a great way to engage employees, bring some healthy competition to the workplace and raise vital funds for life-saving cancer research.
