Leicestershire Local Runs
Leicestershire Local Runs is a new initiative by Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport; Local runs are guided by friendly Run England Run Leaders along scenic planned routes. Everyone is welcome to join in these fun led runs and discover some of the best places to run in Leicestershire.
All runs take place on a Sunday morning at 10am and cost just £2 per person (car parking charges may apply for some locations). Run Leaders will accommodate runners of all abilities and runs will last for no more than one hour or 5 miles in distance. Shorter distances will be available for beginners.
The first Leicestershire Local Runs are confirmed as follows;
- Watermead Country Park, Sunday 9th June, 10am, meet at King Lear's Lake car park. Deadline for bookings is Wednesday 5th June.
- Victoria Park, Leicester, Sunday 7th July, 10am, meet at Granville Road car park. Deadline for bookings is Wednesday 3rd July.
