How do I connect my Workplace Challenge account to my Fitbit account?

When logged into the Workplace Challenge website just click on 'my dashboard', 'account' and then 'connect to Fitbit'. Please note it is only possible to connect to Fitbit from the desktop version of the Workplace Challenge website and not the app.

Can I track daily steps or logged activity?

The default is for logged activity to update users Workplace Challenge profiles. To choose whether to track daily steps or logged activity, when logged into the Workplace Challenge website just click on 'my dashboard', 'account' and then select the option in the 'connect to Fitbit' area.

Do I need to do anything for my Fitbit activity to update my Workplace Challenge profile?

No - relevant activity tracked with your Fitbit (logged activity or daily steps) will automatically update your Workplace Challenge profile at regular times. This will take place after you sync your Fitibit with your phone, ideally each day or at least once a week.

How often will my Workplace Challenge profile be updated with Fitbit activity?

The Daily Steps Total is updated every 4 hours - during 00:00-12:00 (Morning) it updates data for the previous day and 12:00-00:00 (Afternoon) it updates the current day, meaning there are 12 hours of lag for people that haven't synced their device yet. Logged activities will update once every 24 hours. Please note that only activity from the date when Fitbit was connected to Workplace Challenge will be added.
