Kent's #ActiveTravel Challenge is all about swapping motorised transport for two legs or two wheels.

We're inviting you and your colleagues to log as much #ActiveTravel as you can between 1 May and 30 June 2018. Why? Because Active Travel is a great way to build in physically active as part of your daily routine, which can contribute to improved health and help to prevent or manage a range of chronic diseases. Active Travel is also good for the environment, helps reduce fuel costs, saves CO2 and reduces congestion.

If you walk, run or cycle instead of using motorised transport, largely for functional reasons ie. travelling to work, to the local shops and/or to a leisure activity, it can be logged as #ActiveTravel. Just remember to tick the box that says'ACTIVE TRAVEL?' and enter the distance that you've travelled.

Spot Prizes, including FitBit Alta Watches, Kent Sport goodies, 5 FlipOut Chatham Jump Passes Instant PingPong sets, Kent Country Park season tickets and High street vouchers, will be randomly awarded to Individuals and Workplaces during the 8 Week Challenge and at the end.
