National Fitness Day is a chance to highlight the role physical activity plays across the UK, helping raise awareness of its importance in helping us lead healthier and active lifestyles.
National Fitness Day sees a huge range of activity options enjoyed by participants of all ages, such as 'plank offs', yoga and pilates classes, treadmill challenges, high-street HIIT classes, dance-offs, mass walks and many more.
Celebrate your fitness
#Fitness2Me aims to celebrate what fitness means to people, promoting that keeping physically active means something different to us all. We want to make #Fitness2Me the biggest movement in breaking down the barriers that stop people being active, showing that fitness is for everyone!
This year, UK Active are looking out for the most inspiring #Fitness2Me heroes from the nine English regions and the three nations that make up the UK, to promote their stories to a national audience in the run-up to National Fitness Day.
Host an event
To make National Fitness Day the most active day of the year we need your help! Why not host an event at your workplace to get everybody spreading and enjoying the benefits of physical activity?
Axa PPP Healthcare is back supporting National Fitness Day and encouraging workplaces to get their teams off to a flyer! Research suggests employees who start the day being active enjoy lower stress levels, are better decision makers, have more energy, and most importantly, are happier.
That's why this National Fitness Day, Axa PPP Healthcare are doing something about it by asking workplaces all around the country to push back the start of the working day by an hour.
