Sport Birmingham's free-to-join online programme aims to encourage the business community to lead more active and healthy lifestyles by inviting people, (and workplaces), from across the city to log their physical activities on the Workplace Challenge platform, clocking up activity points in order to secure the title of one of the most active workplaces across England. Whether logging points as an individual, against colleagues in the office or as part of an office team, Workplace Challenge is a useful tool to enable individuals to record the activities and sports that they take part in on a daily basis.
A genuine multisport offer, Workplace Challenge participants can log activity across almost 150 sports and activities, so there's something for everyone and no prescriptive format for participation.
The programme is comprised of 3 annual activity log 'challenges' as well as providing a year-round series of local events and competitions, including employee training to create 'Workplace Challenge Champions', delivered in partnership with the British Heart Foundation.
Log your levels of sport, physical activity and active travel online, whilst competing with other workplaces, friends and colleagues at the same time. The more activity you do, the more points you get... and points make prizes!
Take part in our inter-workplace sports competitions!
In partnership with National Governing Bodies of Sport (NGBs), Sport Birmingham organises inter-workplace competitions across a variety of sports for you and your colleagues. It doesn't matter if you haven't played before, local sport coaches will provide support and instruction for your team at the events for a low cost, all with an emphasis on fun and teamwork.
